Camp Arena Stage Philosophy

Community and art make the magic of Camp Arena Stage. At camp, we see, recognize, and appreciate each individual for who they are and the art that only they can make. We value being present, joyful, creative, and kind. We know art has a product, but it is also a process full of mistakes and discoveries. We support one another and make a place that is safe to take risks and to grow as we explore, discover, and create art together.

Camp Arena Stage is hosted on the gated campus, grounds, and air-conditioned classrooms of Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School.

8-15 (as of July 1, 2026)

Session Dates

3-Week Session: July 6 – July 24, 2026
2-Week Session: July 27 – August 7, 2026

Regular Hours

9:00AM – 4:00PM
Note: Camp ends at 2:00PM on the last Friday of each session. There is no extended day on the last Friday of each session.

Early Drop-Off Hours (new in 2026)

8:00–8:45AM (for an additional fee)

Extended Day Hours

4:00–6:00PM (for an additional fee)

Lunch/Snacks

Campers bring their own well-marked lunches that are kept in an air-conditioned room. Camp Arena Stage is not a peanut-free camp. We provide an optional, individually wrapped, daily snack. 

Registration

A non-refundable deposit of $300 is due upon registration. The tuition balance is due on June 5, 2026. 

Tuition and Fees

 
If life happens and you utilize extended hours one day:
Early Drop-Off Drop-In Fee: $15/day
Extended Day Drop-In Fee: $25/day

Discounts

Early Registration Discount for Returning Campers
Returning campers receive $50 off the 2-Week Session and $100 off the 3-Week Session when registering by February 14 by using the returning camper promo code.
Returning campers should e-mail camp@arenastage.org if you have not received the promo code.

Military, Educator, & First Responder Discount
Children of military, teachers, and first responders receive 20% off camp tuition. You will be prompted to provide supporting identification. 

Give the Gift of Camp
If you would like to give a young artist in your life—like a grandchild—the gift of camp, you can purchase an Arena Stage gift certificate. This will provide you with a code that the parent/guardian can use for payment when registering.

Scholarships

Need-based scholarships are available. See our guidelines and application.

Refunds

Registrants who cancel their registration before June 5 will forfeit the $300 deposit. No refunds are available for registrations canceled after June 5. Please contact the Sales Office at 202-488-3300 for assistance with your cancellation and refund.

Cancellation Policy

If Camp Arena Stage must cancel a session in full before the session starts, we will fully refund tuition. If we must cancel once a session has started, refunds will be pro-rated.
