Mead Center Parking
The entrance to the parking garage is accessible from the northbound lane of Maine Avenue. Subscribers and single-ticket purchasers may purchase parking in advance by calling the Sales Office at 202-488-3300. The subscriber rate for parking is $18 per performance. Single ticket purchasers may reserve in advance for $30 per parking space. Advance reservations and rates discontinue three hours prior to curtain. Any parking available on the day of the performance will be sold at the garage on a first-come, first-served basis for $27. Accessibility parking may also be purchased in advance with a copy of a valid handicap parking tag. The garage is open from 10 a.m. until one hour after the end of the performance.
As a benefit of their support, some Arena Stage members have access to discounted (and complimentary at certain levels) onsite parking.

Valet Parking
Arena Stage offers valet service at no additional cost to our patrons with accessibility needs who have booked their parking in advance by contacting the Sales Office at 202-488-3300. Reservations for accessible parking discontinue three hours prior to curtain time. Valet parking is available one hour before show time for all performances.
Fourth Street Garage | West and East Garage
1100 Fourth Street SW (entrance next to CVS) - a three minute walk. For all performances discounted parking is available through pre-reservation for $18 and day of performance parking will be sold at $22.00. The garages are a short .5-1 block walk around the corner to the Mead Center for American Theater. After 5 p.m. weekdays, or all day on weekends, you must pay for your parking at the ‘Pay Station’ in the garage upon exit (the discounted rate will automatically be applied). Please visit the Visitors Services Desk as you exit the Mead Center to have your parking ticket validated if you entered the parking garage before 5 p.m. on a weekday.
Advance reservation and payment is strongly recommended. Discount Pre-pay rate is exclusive for Arena Stage patrons. Plus it's quick and easy!
L’Enfant Plaza Parking

L’Enfant Plaza provides ample parking (1,400 spaces), is just a few blocks from the Southwest Waterfront and less than one mile from Arena Stage. Learn more
Wharf Valet
Dine at Del Mar de Fabio Trabocchi at the Wharf before or after the show and park for $27. Regular valet is $35. Learn more

Street Parking
Street parking is scarce around Arena Stage. Please allow yourself extra time if you plan to park on the streets. Please read signage carefully and observe parking restrictions. Arena Stage is not responsible for the condition of parking meters on neighborhood streets. Street parking is free on federal holidays.

Metrobuses
Stops are located directly in front of the theater as well as across from and slightly north of the theater entrance. Plan your trip on Metrobus
Lyft Concierge is now available as an option for departing Arena Stage patrons. Reservations can be made at Visitor Services upon your arrival. You don’t have to be a Lyft member to use the service, you travel on Arena’s account. Fare is calculated based on time and distance plus a $2 service fee.
Taxis
Arena Stage will gladly call taxis for patrons. Reservations can be made at Visitor Services upon your arrival. Service will depend on the response of the taxi company.
Southwest Shuttle
The Wharf offers a SW Neighborhood Shuttle that is free and open to the public. With daily service and 10-minute headways, it’s easy and convenient to take the Shuttle between The Wharf, L’Enfant Plaza Metro/VRE station (Seventh St. and Maryland Ave. SW), the National Mall (Seventh St. at Independence Ave. SW), and L’Enfant Plaza on Tenth St. SW (future home of the International Spy Museum). The Shuttle operates until 11:30 p.m. Monday – Thursday, until 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday and until 11 p.m. on Sunday.

Water Taxi
If you’re checking out the region’s waterfront destinations — Georgetown, Old Town Alexandria, National Harbor/MGM and more — there is no better way to get there than by water taxi. Come to the Transit Pier to catch a ride or board one of many dining cruises for a unique experience as you explore the nation’s capital from the Potomac. The last Water Taxi departs The Wharf for Alexandria at 9:45 p.m. and for Georgetown at 9:50 p.m. Late service available after select Anthem concerts.
