About the Artist
Nicholas is perhaps best known at Arena Stage for his Helen Hayes Award-winning performance as Curly in Oklahoma! to open the Mead Center for American Theater. Other Arena credits include: Carousel (Helen Hayes nomination), Destiny of Desire, Mother Courage and Her Children, My Fair Lady (Helen Hayes nomination), Light in the Piazza and The Power of Two. Broadway/National Tour: Tarzan®, The Sound of Music (Captain Von Trapp) directed by Jack O’ Brien. Off-Broadway: Toxic Avenger, Almost Heaven, Death For Five Voices, Collette Collage, Bajour. Carnegie Hall: Guys and Dolls. Tours: Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, Hair. Regional: Nicholas recently completed a run as Joe Gillis opposite Alice Ripley in Sunset Boulevard at North Shore Music Theatre.
