About the Artist
A native of the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, Lorene grew up studying ballet and tap but quickly segued her love for performance into acting. She loves Arena Stage and has been blessed to work on Smart People (Valerie Johnston) as well as The Heiress (Marian Almond). She recently performed voiceover work for the Netflix Documentary GIMS: On The Record. Other VO credits include Kormir from Guild Wars 2, and Red Dead Redemption 2. Additional stage credits include The Flame/Ms. Caliente in The Villians' Supper Club (Merrimack Repertory Theatre), Cassandra in The American Woman (Pasadena Playhouse), and Delilah in Memphis (La Jolla Playhouse). TV credits include Perception (TNT), Shameless (Showtime), and The Fosters (Freeform). She studied theater at Temple University and earned an M.F.A. in acting at UCSD. Lorene would like to thank God for her many blessings and her family and friends for their continual love and support!

Groove It Out:Dance Party with Lorene Chesley
In this 55-minute virtual low impact dance party, we move and groove to your favorite tunes, letting our stress melt away! Fun with a group of friends or solo. Lorene is notified the day after you place your order, she will reach out to you within 48-hours of that notification to learn about your favorite music, fitness level and coordinate schedule and other details. She will create a joyful and fun experience customized for you. You may choose to do this class live and a Zoom link will be sent out to you 1 hour prior to class. In addition, you’ll receive a recording of the class to use in perpetuity. Or, if you prefer to dance in private, Lorene will send you a recorded video to use as often as you wish and at your pleasure.
