About the Artist
David Gallo creates innovative scenic and media design for television, concerts, and events. He has designed over 30 Broadway shows, garnering him four Tony nominations and one win. He was production designer of Jerry Seinfeld: 23 Hours to Kill and five seasons of Sesame Street, for which he won two Emmy awards. His work as creative director for Phish's New Year's Eve extravaganzas and designer for Blue Man Group have been seen by millions, and the Illusionarium he created for Norwegian Cruise Line was a pioneer in immersive entertainment. How it works: You send me a dozen unedited, unfiltered selfies. I will use them to create either a high-resolution digital image or a framed painting/collage. This is not photo refinishing, and it’s not about trying to make you look like a magazine model. It’s about seeing yourself in a new way through the power of art. Sometimes the results are abstract, sometimes surreal. They can be surprisingly intimate or unexpected.
