Arena Stage Spring Break Camp

After you complete your online registration, we will email you to ask for your child’s activity preferences. We will update the website if a class is full.

Everyone will take improvisation, and everyone will take musical theater. The other two class periods have two options.

Campers bring their own bag lunches and water bottles every day. Refrigeration and microwaves are not available. Arena Stage is not a nut- or peanut-free zone.

An optional snack is provided each morning.

Your child should bring their lunch and a water bottle each day. They should wear clothes that are comfortable for movement. Sometimes the theater is cold, so layers are a good idea. If your child is taking visual art and you are concerned about paint, please send your child with an old shirt or smock.

Campers may not use cell phones during the day. If they have a cell phone, it must be off and put away at all times. If you need to contact your child, please call the camp phone – 202-600-4064.

Arena Stage has a terrace. If the weather is good, we may go outside to run around on the terrace or perhaps do an egg drop.

On Friday, we will hold a Noontime Show (like a talent show with no prizes) on one of Arena’s professional stages. This is to give the campers the opportunity to perform for one another. We will do a simple recording to share with families. We understand that folks have to work, and families are under no pressure to attend.
