  • About the Artist

    Kirsten Wyatt is an award-winning actress. Her work at Arena Stage as Tammy Faye Bakker in Born For This remains one the highlights of her career. Broadway credits include: Annie, A Christmas Story the Musical, Elf, Shrek, Grease (2007 revival), High Fidelity, The Pajama Game, Urinetown and You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. 

    Kirsten is a nourisher by nature. Whether it's by nourishing spirits through the power of theater or nourishing bellies through the power of food, she likes to make sure everyone is taken care of and well fed. During the pandemic, while it's harder to be on stage, Kirsten has been cooking up a storm for her husband, continued producing her web series Broadway Nosh, and taken a job running a school kitchen in Manhattan where she is in charge of feeding 100 kids every day. In the spirit of continuing to feed spirits and bellies, she is excited to offer Sing for Your Supper – a cooking tutorial and a song – here on the Arena Stage Theater Artists Marketplace.

    Along with being an actor, Kirsten is a very enthusiastic at home cook (check out her web series Broadway Nosh), so she is excited to offer you a cooking class and a song. 
     
    You choose from a list of Kirsten’s favorite recipes then schedule a time to cook together over Zoom. And before you chow down Kirsten will happily sing you a tune for a little pre-dinner entertainment. If you've had enough of Zoom (and who hasn't?), Kirsten is also happy to send you a personalized link so you can watch and cook whenever you want. This also makes a great gift! Either way, you can create some delicious food and hear a little ditty all from Kirsten’s kitchen!

    Please note that Kirsten's list of recipes is constantly growing and evolving.

    For Zoom cooking hangouts, she is happy to work with dietary restrictions.

    *Zoom gatherings with more than 6 people will incur an additional charge of $15 per person. Add "Additional Zoom Participant" to your order to add more guests to your party.
