Mead Ensemble
No prior performance experience is required—just a passion for storytelling and a commitment to creative expression.
Arena Stage Voices of Now classes are for dedicated students, providing young people an engaging environment in which to write, perform, and share stories that shape their lives.
Over 16 weeks (January–April), participants meet weekly to learn Voices of Now devising techniques and process. Together, they share their perspectives and lived experiences, collaborate to create an original autobiographical theater piece, and culminate their journey with a performance at the Voices of Now Festival at Arena Stage.
Registration is now open for Mead Ensemble 2026!
