Closed captioning services are powered by Globetitles, which are available for select Arena Stage performances, following the production's official Opening Night. Patrons can access Globetitles on their personal devices by checking in with our Visitors Services desk, where you can also borrow a tablet to use the service.

Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs) pick up the ambient sound from inside the theaters and amplify it into provided headphones. These devices may be used in any seat, any theater, and for any performance. 

Headsets with induction neck loops are available for patrons who use hearing aids and cochlear implants with a "T" switch. ALDs and headsets are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis from the Visitors Services desk.

The Script Loan Program is available for patrons who find that reading the play before attending improves their experience. Arena Stage can mail you a copy of the script prior to your performance. Please email access@arenastage.org for more information.

Accessible parking is available in our on-site parking garage and requires a valid disability parking placard or license plate. We recommend reserving your parking in advance, either online or by calling our Sales Office at 202-488-3300, Tuesday - Sunday, 12pm - 6pm.

Valet parking is provided to our patrons with accessibility needs who have paid for parking in advance, starting one hour before showtime. Pull up to our main entrance at 1101 Sixth Street, SW and a valet attendant will assist you.

Content warnings are typically available at the start of the run for each production. If you have any concerns regarding your performance, please contact access@arenastage.org. Additional warnings can also be found on the dedicated web page for each production, and will be posted in the lobby of our building before each performance.

For performances that include strobe or extreme light effects, information sheets and light-reducing glasses are available for pickup at the Visitor's Services desk.

For performances that are especially loud, earplugs and noise-cancelling headphones are also available at the Visitor's Services desk.

Our open layout makes navigation straightforward, with accessible entrances at our main doors and all three theaters. Elevators connect all lobby levels all the way up to our terrace level, and accessible restrooms are available on every floor.

We're happy to provide courtesy wheelchairs (ID is required to be loaned out) to help you move through the building. If you would like assistance, please let us know ahead of your visit and we'll have someone ready to help.
