Experience all the creativity and community of Camp programming—packed into two exciting fall days! Students in grades 3-5 will explore theater, music, movement, and visual art through engaging workshops with professional teaching artists. With opportunities to peek behind the scenes and create in one of the nation's premier regional theaters, this mini-camp is the perfect autumn arts adventure.

Fall Mini-Camp runs October 12 to 13, from 8:30AM to 4:00PM daily. The cost is $225, due upon registration. Payment plans are available—reach out to us for more information!

FAQs

Arena Stage reserves the right to cancel a program due to enrollment or other circumstances. All efforts will be made to give participants ample warning. If Camp Arena Stage must cancel a session in full before the session starts, we will fully refund tuition. If we must cancel once a session has started, refunds will be pro-rated.

After you complete your online registration, we will email you to ask for your child’s activity preferences. We will update the website if a class is full.

Everyone will take improvisation, and everyone will take musical theater. The other two class periods have two options.
Campers bring their own bag lunches and water bottles every day. Refrigeration and microwaves are not available. Arena Stage is not a nut- or peanut-free zone.

An optional snack is provided each morning.
Your child should bring their lunch and a water bottle each day. They should wear clothes that are comfortable for movement. Sometimes the theater is cold, so layers are a good idea. If your child is taking visual art and you are concerned about paint, please send your child with an old shirt or smock.
Campers may not use cell phones during the day. If they have a cell phone, it must be off and put away at all times. If you need to contact your child, please call the camp phone: (202) 600-4064.
Arena Stage has a terrace. If the weather is good, we may go outside to run around on the terrace or perhaps do an egg drop.

Parents/guardians will have the option to sign off on their child going for a supervised group walk by the Wharf or to play in the park across from Arena Stage if the weather is good.
