Mentor Ensemble

The Mentor Ensemble is a select group of artists who have previously participated in the Voices of Now (VON) program and are committed to enhancing their skills as VON artists and leaders.

The Mentors have six responsibilities and opportunities:

  1. Guide new artists through the unique artistic process of Voices of Now.
  2. Serve as artistic role models by creating and performing their own plays every year
  3. Act as ambassadors for Voices of Now at local and national events
  4. Start their artistic careers as directors of future Voices of Now ensembles
  5. Attend invited dress rehearsals for Arena Stage's season productions
  6. Host the Voices of Now Festival

It is through the unique contributions and bold artistic explorations of the VON mentors that the program continues to grow and evolve.
