Full Circle Society
Create A Legacy – Join the Full Circle Society at Arena Stage. Even in the face of a complex economy, there are still many ways to support Arena Stage while planning for your financial future and that of your family – including gifts that may provide you with a stream of income for your lifetime.
You don’t have to be wealthy to make a significant gift. Donors are able to make strategic contributions through a bequest, living trust or other gifts that provide benefits during your life and the life of a loved one. Your gift may support Arena Stage’s Next Stage Campaign, endowment, annual fund, education programs, or you may also choose to restrict your gift to benefit a specific Arena Stage program.
A planned gift may help generate lifelong income, achieve significant income-tax restrictions, reduce or eliminate estate taxes, and/or convert low-yielding assets into a higher income stream at a reduced capital-gain cost. By making a planned gift, you are ensuring the future Arena Stage, and Arena’s ability to inspire, entertain, and educate for another 60-years and beyond.

About the Full Circle Society
The Full Circle Society was established to recognize and thank individuals who have made a future gift to Arena Stage through their will or other estate plans. By making their gift intention, Full Circle Society members are assuring that Arena Stage will continue to challenge, educate and entertain audiences, and maintain its excellence in theater nationally, and internationally.
Any documented planned gift entitles you membership into The Full Circle Society, a very special group of friends who have included Arena Stage in their estate plans. Members receive invitations to exclusive programs and events, such as an annual appreciation dinner with Artistic Director Molly Smith and other exclusive events at the new Mead Center for American Theater.
We encourage you to consider the future of Arena Stage when planning your legacy and we appreciate your generosity and desire to connect your legacy with our mission.

“Making a planned gift to Arena Stage is my way to contribute to the revitalization of the Southwest Waterfront at the same time I am supporting an institution that finds new ways to challenge and entertain me each season. While I am happy to make annual gifts to support Arena now, joining the Full Circle Society by designating Arena as the beneficiary of my IRA, funds will pass directly to Arena without going through a lengthy probate process, helping to protect this cultural landmark for years to come.”
- Vicki J. Hicks
“I chose a bequest because I wanted to have a BIG impact without giving a cash gift today. A bequest is the easiest and simplest way to make a gift.”
- Judy Lynn Prince
“We feel the long-term viability of the theater really has to come from two sources- annual fundraising efforts and long-term donations [in the form of a planned gift] from the people who love the theater and are willing to commit to it in perpetuity.”
- Beth Newburger Schwartz and Richard Schwartz
“We wanted to leave a legacy to places that were especially close to our hearts - and so Arena was right up there.”
- Frankie and Jerry Williamson
“We feel it's very important to know that people, even of modest means, can make a difference. If every person gave whatever they can afford, then that's all these people working together to make a difference in supporting something vital, like Arena. It will then continue to live on for generation to generation to generation; that's why we have made a legacy gift.”
- Mark and Merrill Shugoll
