Event Calendar

It is remarkable to think of Arena Stage’s contribution to the American theater over the past 64 seasons, and our 65th year aims to honor that history and revel in creating new and inspiring work that challenges us to keep pursuing excellence for our committed Washington audiences.

Our season includes five world premieres; big names like August Wilson and Christopher Durang; wonderful artists like Katori Hall, Robert O’Hara and Morris Panych; exciting directors like Anita Maynard-Losh, Timothy Douglas and Aaron Posner making their Arena debuts; visits with Sherlock Holmes and Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia; plus two musicals to make your holiday season sparkle. It’s going to be a fun one. Join us!
