is excited to be making her Arena Stage debut. A Washington area native, Ms. Gamble played the role of the Witch in Signature’s Into the Woods that opened the company’s brand new theater last January. She has received two Helen Hayes nominations, in 2004 for Sarah in Ragtime (Toby’s Dinner Theatre), and again in 2006 for Erzulie in Once on This Island (Round House Theatre). Other Washington appearances include Meet John Doe at Ford’s Theatre, as well as Urinetown, My Fair Lady, Follies and Grand Hotel at Signature Theatre. Off Broadway, she was seen in Kathie Lee Gifford’s Under the Bridge at the Zipper Theatre. She has also performed regionally at Perseverance Theatre (Hair).
