Notes from Molly: When I saw Lisa Kron’s play, I knew that we just had to produce this wildly funny and inventive work at Arena. Aside from being hilarious, Well is a perceptive look at Mother/Daughter relations that will resonate with every parent and every grown-up child. It also takes a comical look at the conventions of theater – the line between performance and “reality” is constantly crossed as the play explores the dynamics of health, family and community.
