When you come to Arena Stage, the art comes to your classroom. Attending a performance as an educational group means more than seeing a show – Arena Stage provides the tools to integrate the art into your curriculum and connect the art to students’ lives – at no additional cost!
This program is open to any student group – middle school, high school and college level – from anywhere in the country. When you book your tickets through Group Sales, your group automatically receives:

• Preview tickets for the teacher or principal
• The script
• Arena’s Page: A Student Study Guide for each student to provide context and clarity and spark critical and creative thinking
• Curriculum Connections – discussion questions and activities centered on the performance and aligned with national standards of education across multiple content areas - for the teacher
• An interactive post-show visit with Arena Stage teaching artists and, often, cast members to delve into the show’s themes (by request and subject to availability)

Open to a limited number of DC public schools each season via an application process. DC Ticket Partners receive the following for each of two of Arena Stage productions per season:

• $3 tickets; up to 35 tickets
• Preview tickets for teacher or principal
• Arena’s Page: A Student Study Guide for each middle and high school student
• A copy of Curriculum Connection, a resource for teachers suggesting discussion topics and classroom activities that connects each play to multiple subject areas and content standards
• A post-show discussion with the actors
• Two in-class visits with an Arena artist or educator
• Backstage tour for participating teachers
• Two teacher orientation sessions
• Possible subsidized transportation to and from the theater.
