
Assistant Camp Director
Assistant Camp Director Rebecca Campana brings a
combination of camp, education, arts and
administrative experience to Camp Arena Stage.
She has been a village counselor for YMCA Camp
Matollionequay and the assistant director of her
family’s creative arts camp. As an educator, she
was a home visitor for Even Start, a federally
funded family literacy program in Arcade, N.Y.,
and currently serves as a teaching artist and
general administrative support for the Community
Engagement Division at Arena Stage. She has also
been a mentor, tutor, youth theater director and
soccer coach. In addition to her creative
artistic pursuits, Rebecca has experience in
arts marketing and publicity, including two
seasons with Chautauqua Conservatory Theater
Company and three years at the Regina A. Quick
Center for the Arts. She stepped into her role
at Camp Arena Stage after completing the
executive director internship at Arena. During
this internship, she assisted in the preliminary
research and planning for Camp Arena Stage. She
holds a dual honors degree in Journalism/Mass
Communication and English from St. Bonaventure
University. A Jim Murray scholar and a former
editor of various publications, Rebecca will
also help campers write, design and publish the
camp newspaper.
