Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School
1524 Thirty-Fifth Street NW, Washington, D.C., 20007

The Georgetown Visitation campus is located on 26 acres in the heart of historic Georgetown. Shaded by tall trees – some believed to have been given to the original property owners by Thomas Jefferson – Visitation’s rolling lawns are places for campers to gather, eat and play. Camp begins and ends each day with an all-camp gathering on the Field of Dreams.

The heart of the camp is the Nolan Performing Arts Center. Dedicated in 1998, it includes a 500-seat theater, two dressing rooms, a green room, an outdoor amphitheater, a terrace and dance studio. Activities will also be held in the air-conditioned classrooms of St. Joseph’s hall, which was renovated in 2002-03. These spacious classrooms are bright with natural light and some open onto an outdoor terrace.

Campers and their guardians may enter and exit the grounds through the main gate at 35th and Volta Place NW. This gate is attended by a security guard at all times. Free, short-term parking is available on the grounds for camper drop-off and pick-up. We encourage our campers to carpool.
