During the winter of 2007, Arena Stage moved operations away from the Southwest, DC campus in preparation for the January 2008 groundbreaking to commence construction on the $125 million expansion to build Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater. Performances of ELLA began December 28, 2007 at Arena Stage in Crystal City (C), a converted 460-seat theater in Arlington, VA.
